The George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) proudly announces that faculty member Nancy Bocskor has been named a 2025 Trailblazer Award honoree by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC).
The Trailblazer Award celebrates individuals at the forefront of change—pioneers whose groundbreaking strategies and leadership have significantly advanced the field of political consulting. This year's class is particularly historic, comprising entirely women whose extraordinary contributions have reshaped the industry and inspired generations of practitioners.
Bocskor's career exemplifies this spirit of innovation and mentorship. A former Chief of Staff on Capitol Hill, she has trained aspiring leaders in all 50 states and 28 countries. Her work with organizations such as Running Start and The Campaign School at Yale underscores her commitment to advancing civic education and promoting inclusive political participation.
“I'm grateful for this recognition,” said Bocskor. “When I began working in politics more than 30 years ago, there weren’t many women in the room. That’s why I’ve devoted much of my career to teaching, mentoring, and helping more women find their voice and take their seat at the table.”
At GSPM, Bocskor continues to inspire the next generation of political leaders through her teaching and mentorship, embodying the very essence of the Trailblazer Award.
