Missy Walker
Missy Walker serves as Associate Dean for Enrollment Management for the College of Professional Studies at The George Washington University. She provides strategic leadership for recruiting and enrollment across CPS and GSPM programs, with a focus on sustainable growth, cross-functional alignment, and delivering a cohesive, student-centered experience.
Missy joined GW after more than a decade leading enrollment-focused marketing and recruiting initiatives within higher education, having worked on the commercial side of leading adult education institutions. Her experience spans brand and messaging strategy, demand generation, testing and optimization, and channel mix design — all grounded in the principle that effective marketing and recruiting must work together to support enrollment outcomes.
Prior to her appointment as Associate Dean, Missy served for six months as Interim Assistant Dean for Recruiting & Admissions, where she partnered closely with faculty and staff to stabilize operations, strengthen collaboration, and guide the organization through a period of significant change. She is known for building cohesive, empowered teams and for connecting strategy to execution in ways that support both institutional goals and individual student success.
Missy is passionate about expanding access, strengthening program visibility, and ensuring that students feel supported and confident at every stage of their journey — from first inquiry through alumni engagement.
