Fall 2026 Orientations
The schedule is set for our new student orientations to welcome the incoming cohort of CPS students. These will be an opportunity to learn about the resources available to you as a GW/CPS student, meet your classmates, and hear from your faculty program director. We hope that you can join us!
CPS New Student Orientation: August 19
Wednesday, August 19, 2026, 6-8 p.m., Virtual (link to follow).
Programs: MPS Cybersecurity, Homeland Security, Paralegal Studies, Publishing, Sustainable Urban Planning
GSPM New Student Orientation: September 10
Thursday, September 10, 2026, 2-5 p.m. (Hybrid; details to follow).
Programs: MPS Legislative Affairs, Political Management, Public Relations/Communications
Welcome Back Meet & Greets
Grab some pizza with your classmates to kick off the fall semester. We'll have reps from the student engagement team (career and student services) on hand for questions and conversation.
