Tony Julien is a 20-year veteran in the field of communication design, with strong passion for interactive, web and emerging technologies. He loves the conceptual approach to design and has worked with numerous small businesses and start-ups both in the U.S. and abroad.

Tony has managed many design teams in the technology and non-profit sectors, including Nova International, American Retirement Association, Association for Talent Development and Resonate Networks. He has worked for international companies such as Young and Rubicam, working on international brands such as KFC and Courts U.K. Currently, Tony is the Creative Director at 720 Strategies, a public relations and grassroots advocacy firm located in Washington D.C.

Tony is the also the co-founder of Julien Creative Communications and for four years worked as the Academic Director of Graphic, Web Design and Photography at the Art Institute of Washington. He taught graphic and web design courses for over eight years at the college level. He has taught a variety of print and interactive courses as an adjunct faculty at Marymount University, the University of Maryland University College and George Washington University.

He was born in Trinidad and Tobago, and lives with his wife and three kids in Arlington, VA.
