CPS/GSPM proudly sponsored and participated in the 2024 Pi Sigma Alpha National Student Research Conference, held February 16-18 at George Washington University. The event reinforced our enduring partnership with Pi Sigma Alpha, The National Political Science Honor Society. The Conference lineup included participation by two faculty members from our Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) and several alumni.

Prior to introducing the event’s keynote speaker, Dr. Matt Dallek, GSPM professor of political management, spoke to attendees about GSPM. He highlighted academic opportunities where they can sharpen their skills, advance their careers and pursue their passions. He also called attention to GSPM’s exciting and innovative approach to learning, citing the Semester in Washington and the Global Perspective Residency programs as examples.

Reflecting on the event, Professor Dallek noted, “The event featured hundreds of students who seemed devoted to politics, research and public service.”
