Reimagined Student Attraction System
  • Hire new creative, production, and media-placement agencies and develop all new college- and product-level branding & promotion collateral and processes

  • Identify new lists of prospective students through partnerships and other sources

  • Refresh & expand communications that are sent to prospective students who have demonstrated interest in our programs.

  • Revise and expand admitted student events

Community Engagement & Events
  • Launch a college event calendar

  • Hire Operations & Events Manager and establish centralized event-planning process for the college

  • Develop Signature Event Series to raise awareness of CPS programs in industry, government & the university community

Lifelong Learning Platform
  • Work with faculty & strategic partners to develop an online, AI-driven platform to engage lifelong learners with industry thought leadership content, program samplers, stackable microcredentials (for-credit & CPE/CEU options), events, and promote for-credit programs

  • Identify a partner to enable CPS to issue digital certificates/badges

External Engagement
  • Establish new ways to communicate with, engage, and support CPS/GSPM alumni

  • Further involve the GSPM Advisory Board through in our admissions & recruiting activities, feedback on our curricula, and cultivating partnerships for professional progress

  • Develop and launch GSPM marketing campaign featuring advisory board members

  • Establish a CPS Advisory Board

  • Create materials to market opportunities for partner engagement with CPS through learning and development programs, connections to student talent, and philanthropy

Applied Politics Summer Program
  • Launch new undergraduate summer programs to grow GSPM student pipeline
  • Work with partners to develop co-curricular experiences to support these programs (e.g. events, internships, etc.)
  • Develop a network of university partnerships to pipeline undergraduate students outside of GW to these programs
Strategic Plan Phase II
  • Create 3-year plans for all academic units + programs & publish written report

  • Finalize strategic plan KPIs & data collection/analysis process

  • Launch digital annual report

  • Establish thematic college committees to support strategic initiatives

  • Ensure each program completes a formal academic program review
