This summer, we’re excited to celebrate 20 years of collaboration between George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) and the University of Navarra located in Pamplona, Spain.
The partnership centers around the GSPM Four-Week Program, also known as the Navarra program, a unique residency held in Washington, D.C, for students from the University of Navarra's Master's Degree in Political and Corporate Communication (MCPC) program. It offers theoretical and practical insights into U.S. political communication and lobbying, which continues to be a cornerstone of our international educational outreach.
To celebrate this milestone, GSPM's Program Manager for Executive Education and Academic Partnerships, Martin Velazquez, attended the MCPC graduation. The ceremony, held on the University of Navarra's campus, was attended by faculty, students, and distinguished guests/hosts, including Quico Pérez-Latre, the promotion sponsor, Charo Sádaba, The University of Navarra's Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Carlos Barrera, Academic Director.
Mr. Velazquez delivered a speech during the ceremony, sharing reflections on the enduring partnership and its achievements. The ceremony also featured a diploma presentation, where 25 students were recognized for completing both the MCPC program and the GSPM Four-Week Program, which most recently concluded in March 2024.
The partnership between GSPM and the University of Navarra has fostered a rich exchange of ideas and expertise, benefiting both institutions and their students. As we look back on these 20 years, we are proud of the accomplishments and the impact this collaboration has made on political management and communication.
