CPS Hosts Esteemed Panelists to Imagine the Future With Artificial Intelligence

In the wake of an accelerating artificial intelligence (AI) boom, The George Washington University College of Professional Studies (CPS) is poised to be a part of the second annual GW Business & Policy Forum. Scheduled for April 2, 2024, this event aims to delve into the mechanisms and frameworks necessary to prepare for the future shaped by AI.

Under the theme "Imagining the Future with AI," the forum will gather leading experts and practitioners from both private and public sectors. One of the highlights of this event is CPS’s Panel 5, titled "AI at the Intersection of Cybersecurity," scheduled from 2:20 to 3:00 p.m.

The esteemed panel features notable personalities, including:

  • Introduction by Liesl Riddle: Dean of The George Washington University College of Professional Studies, Riddle brings academic expertise to the discussion.
  • Moderator Dmitry Korolev: Principal at Verizon specializing in Security Risk Management, Korolev will steer the discussion on AI's intersection with cybersecurity.

    • Kristie Grinnell: As the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at DXC Technology, Grinnell brings insights from the technology industry.
    • Matt Hayden: Serving as the Vice President for Cyber and Emerging Threats at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), Hayden offers expertise in cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
    • Neil Serebryany: Founder and CEO of CalypsoAI, Serebryany contributes from the perspective of AI innovation and entrepreneurship.
    • Mike Uster: With roles as Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer at ManTech, Uster provides valuable insights from the realm of government contracting and technology solutions.
