Every year, GSPM faculty lead short-term study abroad courses that explore the political and socio-economic environments of countries outside the United States. These residencies involve four compressed weeks of online three-credit coursework, followed by a one-week onsite program in a world capital.
Students most recently traveled to Spain, Brazil and The Republic of Georgia. Where are our faculty and students going next? Upcoming residency programs include trips to the United Kingdom and the European Union - Brussels.
The students participating in the United Kingdom program have already begun their online learning component and are eagerly preparing for the in-country portion of their program next month.
Apply by May 10 for the European Union - Brussels course, offering unparalleled insights into the workings of the European Union, coupled with engaging sessions, site visits, and networking opportunities that promise to enrich your academic journey. The residency may be of interest to students if they are:
- Interested in learning about and operating in international markets, accounting for the complexities of different political and social environments
- Curious about influencing governments, parliaments, associations and civil society organizations as well as their leaders and staff around the world
- Seeking to advance a cause or commerce in the European Union
- Looking to bring about change in the region and the world
