The College is pleased to announce that Ms. Samantha Cropper joined the CPS team on Sept. 18 as the Director of Constituent Engagement and Annual Giving, CPS and GSEHD.
Samantha joined the Donor Relations team at GW in January 2020. Over the past three years, she has led the division's ThankView campaigns to build relationships with countless GW donors. She also worked with a videographer to produce video and speaker content for the past two Celebrations of Scholarship and Fellowship Dinners (2023 video and event). This past year, she managed the endowment reporting cycle and delivered over 1,100 stewardship reports to university donors. Prior to her time at GW, Samantha held similar positions at the University of South Carolina and the University of Miami.
Samantha is known for her sense of humor, vibrant personality, and being the oldest of five kids, which she jokingly refers to as a "thankless job." As a DMV native and GW alumna (MBA '23), Samantha is excited to continue her career at GW and build on her skillset and internal relationships. In her new role, she will oversee constituent engagement, annual giving and donor stewardship efforts for CPS and the Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD). She will also work closely with the deans to provide strategic management and oversight of the CPS/GSPM and GSEHD Advisory Boards.
