Lorenzo Santos (MPS ‘22), an alumnus of our Homeland Security master’s degree program, is running for Congress (WI-01).
Santos is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and completed his bachelor's degree in International Relations at the Naval Academy in 2013. He furthered his education at George Washington University’s College of Professional Studies, obtaining a master's degree in Homeland Security in 2022. He currently serves as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve and is a member of the esteemed 2023 Truman National Security Project class.
In his campaign, Santos aims to address the pressing issues that community members face, focusing on the financial struggles that many individuals encounter. He understands the importance of fighting for the people's interests and prioritizes their well-being over corporate agendas.
With his extensive experience and dedication to public service, Santos is poised to make a meaningful impact in Congress. His commitment to understanding and advocating for the needs of the people sets him apart as a candidate who genuinely represents the community's best interests.
