Dr. Albert Olagbemiro is a seasoned IT and cybersecurity strategist with over 25 years of combined professional experience in the academic, consulting, defense and financial sectors.

As an academic, he has taught at George Washington University’s College of Professional Studies (CPS), Homeland Security program since 2019. He also held adjunct appointments at different universities where he taught and mentored graduate students in Software Engineering, Information Security and Cybersecurity.

As a consultant he worked at two Big Four consulting firms where he managed several Information Technology Strategy efforts as well as Cybersecurity & Cybercrime related client engagements in the financial services and consumer products industry.

He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and has held leadership roles as a Strategist, Cyber Operations, Acquisitions and Logistics officer. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College where he earned honors as the class Distinguished Master Strategist. He also earned a Master of Military Arts and Science (MMAS) degree in Theater Operations (Cyberwarfare) from the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies as well as a Master of Strategic Studies (MSS) degree in Grand Strategy from the U.S. Air War College.

He is also a 2024 – 2025 recipient of a U.S. Department of State, Fulbright Specialist award to a graduate institution in East Africa. 

He maintains active professional certifications in cybersecurity.
