GW's Master of Professional Studies in Publishing Program ranked #1 in College Magazine’s October 3 article, “Top 10 Colleges for Those Aspiring to Work in Publishing.”
Publishing can be a challenging field to enter. Our program prepares students by its comprehensive nature, instilling a depth and breadth of expertise, emphasizing career management, and demonstrating the wide range of rewarding sectors and job opportunities.
It integrates traditional print with electronic publishing topics, including editorial acquisitions, production and design, copyright law in print and cyberspace, marketing, distribution, management and business, and entrepreneurship.
"Publishers and other organizations, large and small, contact me, eager for more graduates of our program," says John W. Warren, Program Director and Associate Professor.
