Information Technology BPS Course Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled: 120 credits, including 22 credits in general education courses and 38 credits in elective courses, which can be completed at any regionally accredited institution; and 60 credits in core courses, which must be taken at GW.

General education 1
A minimum of 22 credits in general education coursework, including the following:
6 credits in English composition
3 credits in quantitative reasoning (must be in mathematics or statistics)
4 credits in natural and/or physical science with a lab
3 credits in critical thinking in the humanities
6 credits in critical thinking in the social sciences
One approved course in oral communication 2

38 credits in elective courses.
60 credits in core courses for the major, which must be completed at GW. 3
