Scott Jones is a Senior Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he specializes in cybercrime, supply chain, and national security investigations. He brings more than 13 years of experience conducting complex criminal and counterintelligence investigations across military and federal law enforcement environments.

Prior to his current role, Scott served with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). Throughout his career, he has focused extensively on cyber investigations, working to identify and disrupt sophisticated child exploitation networks and transnational criminal organizations.

Scott also served as a Senior Instructor within the Forensics and Special Investigative Skills Branch at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), where he managed and delivered advanced coursework in shooting incident reconstruction, bloodstain pattern analysis, and crime scene reconstruction.

A retired U.S. Army veteran, Scott served as both a Human Intelligence Collector and CID Special Agent. During his military career, he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and supported global defense operations through international mobilizations.

He brings real-world investigative experience into the classroom, providing students with applied insight into cybercrime, national security, and forensic investigation.
