Two extraordinary leaders in communications, Bianca Prade and Shannon Watts, have joined CPS as part of the CPS Visiting Scholar & Practitioner Program. These visionaries will collaborate with Lesley Lopez, Director of the Public Relations and Communications (PR&C) program, to share their expertise and inspire the next generation of leaders in communications, advocacy, and social impact.

Bianca Prade is a trailblazing strategic communications executive with over 20 years of transformative leadership experience. She has guided Fortune 100 companies, spearheaded impactful brand campaigns, and navigated complex challenges across both public and private sectors. A thought leader in emerging technologies, Bianca is writing a textbook on AI in Communications, with a course of the same name set to launch at GSPM in Fall 2025, further demonstrating her commitment to innovation in the field.

About Shannon Watts
Author of FIRED UP; Speaker & Organizer, Founder Emerita of Moms Demand Action
Shannon Watts is an influential advocate and changemaker known as the founder of Moms Demand Action, the nation’s largest grassroots organization dedicated to ending gun violence. Under her leadership, the movement achieved a historic victory in 2022 with the passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the first federal gun safety legislation in 26 years. Shannon brings her deep knowledge of Communications and Social Impact to the program, offering invaluable perspectives on advocacy and leadership. She is currently advising curriculum development and lecturing in the course Communications for Social Change.
