Application Deadlines

*Please note that only the master's degree program is eligible for F-1 and J-1 visas for international students.
International applicants must have completed applications at least two months before the listed admissions deadlines; and accepted international students must submit their visa applications by July 1st for Fall or November 1st for Spring.


Admissions Information

Applicants to the Master of Professional Studies in Sustainable Urban Planning and the Graduate Certificates in Sustainable Urban Planning and Climate Change Management and Policy must have:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education 

  • Normally, a cumulative undergraduate GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 point scale) is required


Application Information

This program requires the submission of a completed application for admission. An online application system accepts all the required application materials electronically, except official transcripts and official test scores. Official test scores, if applicable, are sent to us directly from the appropriate testing organization upon your request. Official hard copy transcripts and documents that are not submitted online must be mailed to us at the following address:

To be considered "official" transcripts, they must remain sealed in their envelope as they were by the issuing university. Transcripts will be considered unofficial if the envelope has been opened.
